In the summer of 2017, I was tasked with completing their website by integrating proprietary imagery and informative copy throughout.

extension 18 films came about in 2009 and was intended to be a collective of the world-class videography talent in Lafayette. This site needed to be visually interesting while still being a blank canvas, so the commercials remained the focus. Commercials showcased on the site included work for retail clients kiki and LA Specs and also the still-growing Eat Lafayette campaign.
Memories of my visits to Woodland Hills are some of the most beautiful I keep. From the horses in the paddocks to the lake to the clubhouse, everything is incredibly maintained. My inspiration is laid bare here. The purple flowers were picked along the cart trails during the photoshoot day and the subtle tooled leather detail and burlap stripe were elements found in the clubhouse.
Without doubt, the biggest challenge with Philippe's site was how to visually represent the magnitude of wine sold in his shop. I aimed to give it a rich feel and visually tell the story of Philippe and his business. Visitors to the site were to be able to purchase from the active stock, ask the owner their questions, learn about wine pairings, and discover new wines based on ones they already love.
Now a defunct program the horses sold in this sale were raised at Angola for use in prison agricultural programs and for sale to state agencies and certain non-profit organizations, through competitive bidding at public auctions. The horses were cared for on the prison grounds by the prisoners as part of a work program. The Angola Prison Horse Sale website was created to house a list of the horses and their pedigrees that would be updated in real time for bidders on the day of the sale.
